Camp Instruction

Camp instructors are professional members of the Society of American Foresters and other forestry related organizations. They work in both the public and private sectors and donate their time at the Forestry Youth Camp. Students are actively engaged in their education and provided multiple opportunities to learn. They will have hands-on experiences, observe forestry operations during a field trip, and develop an appreciation for wildlife by participating in live snake shows. All students completing the Forestry Youth Camp receive a Certificate of Completion and a tee shirt.

RECREATION

While academics are an important part of the Forestry Youth Camp experience, the schedule includes time for recreational activities as well. The camp offers
excellent facilities for tennis, basketball,
ping-pong, and swimming.
